High Hopes - 60 cu. ft meat curing chamber.Ailing 10 yr inkbird humidity controller ( +/- CA out of range). New Amazon inkbird ihc200 sensor worked 2 days and failed, - returned. Order this in high hopes of "hyped swiss sensor",but concerned about confusing description. Ran probe next to old inkbird probe to compare prior to swap. RH% was 10% too low (compared to 7 cabinet monitors + inkbird). CA only allows +/- 5 % calibration adjustment (vs. +/- 30 on inkbird, thankfully). So, this unit would "humidify" vs " dehumidify as actually needed. Also, dehumidify differential is in units of "1", not "tenths" as in 1.3. Lastly, no alarm +/- functions with unit. Think I am going back to inkbird or something else. May work for you if you don't require accurate scaling of humidity control. The best of luck.

Simple and effective tool to automate your humidity in a grow area or reptile habitat. To use these you need “dumb†dehumidifier and or humidifier. Meaning no digital on/off switches. Those units are plugged into their marked spots on the outlet portion of the device and turned on or off based on the setting you program on the controller portion of the unit. You have 3 parts to the device: The sensor, the outlet plugs and the programmable controllerWith that said the touch on the controller is finicky and not real responsive. And the directions could be better. Once set up the unit has worked flawlessly. Affordable way to automate your humidity without need of more expensive smart appliances
