Have always hunted from blinds but in the last few years I have started hunting more from hang on stands and a life line is a must have. Easy to use easy to setup and will save your life. Very durable and the covered locking carabiner is a great touch for going up without making too much noise.

I use a ladder stand and have climbed without a safety line many times but now I feel much safer with this

I used this for years in my stand and the tree gave out before this safety system did. it's definitely quality material and made it through several Minnesota winters

After having used this lifeline for my first season I have a couple of notes. First the rubber boot over the carabiner which initially was a selling point I find mostly gets in the way and offers little real world value. I suppose if you were climbing in and out of your stand with the carabiner banging on a big metal ladder stand it has some value but otherwise it primarily gets in the way for me using climbing sticks and a hang on stand.The carabiner that was included had the locking barrel frozen on me so I could not lock the gate one morning. It seems like some water got into it and the cold temperature froze it up tight. It was not something I wanted to have to mess with when it was in the teens and the dark trying to climb up to my stand. I will probably replace the factory carabiner with something more professional grade that might resist this issue.Other than those issues it worked as intended and while it would be cheaper to build your own this ready made option is one less thing to think about or good for those who would not be confident in constructing their own.

This is the gold standard for safety in a tree. You stay connected from the ground to the top of your stand. The sturdy D-ring and easy to slide knot make this one of the simplest ways to safely climb. Using a strap around the tree is no longer necessary, as this simply loops around the tree and back through itself. As other customers have written, how much is your life worth?

I have suffered two falls while hunting so I was looking forward to seeing how this worked. Tested it on one of my trees at 3 feet up. Worked like a dream. Three feet or fifteen feet...make no difference, you are not going to hit the ground, going up or coming down. I have bought more pieces to the system for myself but if you have a good harness already...this is really all you need. Watch their videos to get it right but it is a really easy thing to set up. The last fall fractured my back (T11) and put me out of work for 3 months. This lifeline is CHEAP insurance.

Unlike the other user reviews. I do use this brand HHS. Would never think about using another brand. People who say they don’t like it cause of a stupid thing. Are rookies that should understand what this supposed to do. I highly recommend it. And will be buying one more. I do switch them up every 2 years as instructions say. That way no issues or falling

If you hunt from a tree stand you need this product. A must have for any hunter. Good quality and works well. I dont get in the tree without one now.
