My son found an older version of this type of call in the woods while we were out exploring- of course the rubber and reed were rotted, but he didn't care. I ordered him a functional call and this young man is well on his way to speaking elk (bugling, chirping, mewing, etc). Easy to use and great for youngsters to hone their skills.

I ordered this for my wife who has a hard time with mouth reeds. She has become efficient with it. I love the way this is compact and sits easy on the hip. The only foul i found was its difficult to chuckle correctly, otherwise a fast and easy bugle.

Good call, easy to use without having to use a reed, doesn't go as deep as I'd like, but can make it work, not all bulls are giants, but sometimes the giant want to run the young ones off and keep his harem in line.

Knew about the item as son inlaw had it. very adequate on the sound production (with practice), compact, light and clips to pack. only issue is keeping it quiet while hiking, if it bounces it broadcasts the bump sound,. amazon service is 5 star.
