I usually never wear gloves when dressing out a deer, just usually strip down to my t-shirt. This year I was going elk hunting in December in northern Michigan and wanted to try out these gloves. I got a chance to try them on my elk. Worked good as an elk is quite a bit larger than a deer. I kept mostly blood free except where I nicked my finger...:)

Great set of gloves at a great price. I recommend putting the latex gloves over the plastic gloves to get better movement and not have the plastic gloves in your way while you are cutting. What I love about these is that the length of the plastic gloves allows you to take them off while holding anything you want to throw away and have it ack as a little trash bag. I will hold paper towels, the latex glove or other small items and then remove the plastic glove around it and tie off the end. Instant trash bag!

Not much to say about these other than they get the job done. They're not perfect as I did have some leakage, but certainly much cleaner than doing it without gloves at all.

Tick diseases from deer blood is a serious thing. Anything you can use to help keep blood from getting on your skin is a must. These cover up all of the little scratches, scrapes, and cuts on the hands and arms to help prevent contact with blood.I recommend these or any other brand to help protect yourself.

These are great for their intended purpose and a far cry from the crazy prices of most other options.

I love these gloves. They come conveniently folded up, and I simply take a set and stick them in a ziplock bag. I push out the air, and stick them in my bag. When I get a deer, I take the gloves out of the zip lock, put my deer tag in the ziplock, and zip tie it to the deer's ear. Then I put on the gloves and get to work. The shoulder length glove protects my clothes when I am reaching into the cavity, so I don't get screamed at when I get home for putting blood soaked clothes in he laundry! The elastic band at the opening keeps them in place perfectly, every time. After I put on the big gloves, I put on the latex ones. These gloves are nice and tight, giving me excellent dexterity throughout the field dressing process. The one issue that I have with these gloves is that the latex gloves are the old school, powdered latex variety which can actually CAUSE you to develop a latex allergy! DO NOT breathe in that powder! EVER! I would feel a lot better if they would switch to nitrile gloves, which are much safer.I know a lot of people who pack the organs out in the inside out gloves, but I do not do this because of the latex issue, and my significant other is allergic to latex. I DO pack out my dirty tools in the gloves, however. Just hold the tool in your hand, grab the glove at the open end, and turn it inside out. You now have a convenient way to pack out that dirty knife or Butt-Out tool without getting blood in your bag.

I always use these gloves when field dressing game. They protect my clothes (sleeves) and keep them clean. You get long orange gloves that protects the sleeves of your clothes, and off white wrist length gloves. The hand gloves are not strong enough and usually tear apart (in many times) when in use. To over come that, I usually buy good wrist gloves that I use with the long orange ones. I keep the wrist size one for extra use of anything else.Even with mainly using the orange ones they are worth the price IMO.
