These work great we use them to hang hogs and deer. I couldn’t build these my self for what I paid. Round stock is plenty thick and the welds seem nice enough. Only fault is like all of these when your lifting the animal one of the side may slip but I just use a pair of vise grips on one side until I actually lift the animal to prevent it from falling off if I’m by my self and remove them once it’s hanging.

This thing was amazing. Only wish I have is that it had a swivel either on the top of this or on my hook for the winch but this thing is pretty sturdy and will hold 280 pounds

Finally got to use this tool a couple of times. For the most part it works well. I have a problem when U get to the end of pelvic or rib cage and there is no more bone to help apply leverage. So u are left with a last piece of bone u have to cut. I still need a pocket knife to clean insides. Tried it on yearlings only so far. The sharpener works great.

Very sturdy and well made. Got it to suspend a harness to help trim boer goat hooves. The harness is too small, but this is a perfect size. Once I find the proper harness/sling, this will get a lot of use.
