I bought this as a replacement for my wooden call I figured this one would be more durable because of the plastic box design but the sound is terrible I am pretty good with turkey calls and have been hunting turkey for around 25 years and I am pretty successful but I worked with thus call at home for around 8 or 9 hours and it just doesn't sound good it is way to scratchy and the trigger causes to mich movement inside the box which causes the striker to move up an away from the slate causing the call to sound way to artificial maybe if there was a way to tighten the trigger it would work better

Bought this for a gun mounted push box but it didn't sound right. I tried to adjust the screw on the bottom to tune it as well but never could get a quality turkey sound. I recommend the wooden version as they have a much better and consistent sound.

Looks solid, but produces unnatural sound. Seems only a slight but better when attached to shotgun barrel.

This call is total junk. I am so disappointed with H.S. Strut, which usually has pretty good products. This call sounds absolutely nothing like a wild turkey. Very squeaky sound. Waste of money. I will try to send it back, but they may or may not take it since I cut open the package to get to the product.

This call is super squeaky and have never heard anything like this in the woods. It's also so cheaply made that I tried to add chaulk to try to make it sound better I broke it. Don't waste your money
