Our easy-to-assemble mount kit comes with a mounting plaque and hardware, a brass nameplate, and easy-to-follow instructions. FEATURES: - Professional look without large price tag; - Easy to assemble; - Includes all mounting hardware & brass name plate; - Perfect for any turkey species. MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS: Place the dried turkey tail on the back of the top plaque. Make sure the fan is centered and straight. Next, lay the retaining plate across the base of the tail and secure it in place with the two screws provided. The beard mounts in the slot located at the bottom of the plaque. It is held in position with either hot melt glue or a silicone adhesive (not included). FINISHING: Take the enclosed brass plate to a local engraver to personalize. The brass name plate is easily applied by peeling the strip from the self-adhesive tape on the back of the plate and pressing into place. Make sure to line the plate up to where you want it before applying.

Make a tail fan for a friend so I didn't want to go completely customer or rustic, since he'd place it in a home office. This plaque looks very nice and will be easy to hang on the wall.

I used this to mount my first turkey fan, it works very well.It mounts very easily, this might be my inexperience in mounting these but the fan is pressed tight against the wall after I hung it up. It looks ok (despite the damage to the fan itself) in other cases it might put pressure on the fan, and cause damage after mounting.

If you want a good turkey mount, buy this plaque. Looks amazing and super easy. Very underpriced for how good it looks.

I cannot give 5 stars for price and overall quality, it's obviously cheap.. but hey, not too shabby! Looks pretty good on the wall, it was really easy to put it all together and I'm pretty well satisfied. A rectangular metal plate is provided for engraving but I didn't like the 1/8th thick white foam backing I just tore that right off and I plan to use probably contact cement to adhere the plate to the mount after engraving. A lot of people complained about the length of the screw through the tail, but it seemed alright to me. Than again this is my first but yeah that was a good inch and a 1/2" at least and well I used a hot glue gun to secure everything in the first place so that extra screw must've made it good and solid and should've made contact with the front face. I'm satisfied at least with the turn out, looks good enough for me!
