I imigine on a newer car with threads it would be a breeze to install but it's 60$ and dose not come with a adapter for my 1995 camaro after spending 30 on a adapter I was more then half way to buying a new ratchet shifter

Quality is good, has a nice feel, and the main reason for purchase was the momentary switch on top, which I used for my line lock for the dragstrip. It has performed well for that purpose. The only reason I did not award 5 stars was the attachment to my shifter, a Pro 5.0 aftermarket shifter for a Mustang. The shifter is a very beefy piece that King Kong could not damage when powershifting. So I was concerned when I saw the size and number of threads on the adapters to match my shifter (as well as any other, they were all the same, just different diameters and thread counts). Didn't seem like enough threads would be engaged to make it as stout as the shifter. Having said that, so far, so good. Two trips to the track and it's still holding up.

Fit good , stays tight, feels good and looks good. Worth the extra 10$ that you pay in store to have it shipped to your door
