For reference this is on an older Mainstay Pillow top Futon from Walmart. I was not expecting it to fit as well as it did. I was worried when I first pulled it out of the package and questioned if I measured correctly but after a little finagling it fit absolutely perfectly. It has good stretch but not so much I expect it to lose it's shape. After I took the picture I was able to adjust it a bit more and get rid of the wrinkles and it looks like the original upholstery. The fabric is thick and soft and doesn't feel like it will wear/rip easily. We have an American Staffy and even with his nails well kept he still manages to dig into furniture and so far I don't even see so much as a snag. My daughter and our dogs seem to always be on this futon, the cover has stayed in place really well and has not shifted at all other than occasionally tucking it back into the crease. So far, no spots or stains so I haven't had to wash it yet, but looking at the stitching I don't see any reason to believe washing will cause any issues. I would absolutely recommend this cover.

This cover is great if you are using your futon in the couch position but due to how it’s sewn you cannot use it in the bed/flat position. Not bad just info o was not aware of.

I have a cat that ... well ... is drawn to cloth rather than her litter box. She targeted the futon couch I have in my basement, and after cleaning it, I settled for putting a clear shower curtain over it, covering the denim cover it came with. On top of that I put a throw. Needless to say, the result wasn't that comfortable as seating ... a bit slippery slidey and crinkly sounding. This waterproof cover let me ditch the shower curtain and still have the futon protected. I love the color ... a soft denim blue; I love the texture and softness. I love how strong the seams are and the waterproof lining. I won't kid you ... it's not the easiest thing to work with. It stretches enough, but as one person, and with some arthritis in my hands, it took a bit of effort to get this over the futon. It was a tight fit, although my futon's measurements were below the maximum size the cover will accommodate. But the material does stretch and looks good on. I'm including a photo, but it doesn't do the cover justice. After years of gravity, my futon sags a bit, not the fault of the cover. I'm very happy with this slipcover.

I love this. I have a beautiful blue futon....and 2 dogs. It's always covered for hair protection with fitted sheets and beautiful blankets. I love that this is the same beautiful blue and fits so snug and perfectly. I feel like my futon is au natural and it makes the room look cleaner. No matter how many times my dogs jump on it and play, the cover stays in place. Recommend!

I received this cover for my dark brown futon as I wanted to change the colors in the room. It went on well and was easy to do. They only this is that if you have a very dark color like I did, you will still be able to see through it a little bit. But overall I am happy with it.

It was easy to put the cover on with lots of fabric left. The material is nice and durable. Nice color too.

made the mistake of buying a white futon cover beforeso this is much nicerhope i never have to test out the waterproof feature
