These curtains exceeded my expectations. The fabric is thick, of excellent quality, and has an elegant finish that adds a sophisticated touch to any space. They block light enough to provide privacy without completely darkening the room. Plus, they are super easy to install thanks to the sturdy grommets. These curtains most certainly provided me with the rich lovely look I was trying to achieve. I read several reviews and am not in agreement with the negative reviews. These are not 100% blackout curtains they blackout approximately 90% which is true to the product description. Although these curtains are not lined (per my HOA I am required that my windows look white from the outside) of which I ordered sheer curtains to compliment these plum colored curtains they exceeded my expectations! I wanted curtains for my home office.Here's what I love about them:1. The grommet color is exactly what I was looking for to compliment the curtain rod I already had in place2. Heavy fabric but nice and very soft3. Provides up to 90 light filtering/blackout (exactly as advertised in the product description)4. Lovely color very close to the online color sample5. Fantastic quality for a superb priceI have cats and did not want to spend a lot of money on curtains that may very well become snagged at some point but I did not want to compromise on the appearance and finding this product gave me the best of both worlds! My cats are happy and can still enjoy their windows ledge sunny naps and I love the rich color and design feel that I get looking at these curtains.UPDATE: We have a snow storm that moved in last night (04/28/2017) and I was eager to see how warm my office would be with these curtains. This room is always cold and I was so surprised how warm it felt this morning when I woke up to check if the curtains blocked out the cold and kept the room from becoming cold...well they did! The room temperature felt the same as the rest of the house. Nicely done!

I have received many compliments and inquiries as to where I purchased these drapes. They have a suede look to them. A blackout coated finish on the back of these drapes which does the job of keeping light out. Of course, they come folded in packaging so wrinkles are to be expected. Always steam iron from the back side to avoid any discolored staining spurts from the iron. Be careful that the iron setting is not too hot. These are a polyester blend that a too hot setting can melt. Iron with a cotton cloth in between the iron and the drapes. This way you can steam iron on a hot cotton setting. The edges of these drapes may buckle up a little. Other than that, these drapes have a beautiful drape and look for the price. The grommets make it easy to open and close. Very happy with this purchase.

I really like the quality of these curtains. Searching for decent curtains on Amazon is not easy and very time consuming. I found these, ordered them, and I am very impressed. I have an East-facing window that brings in a lot of light and heat in the morning. These curtains do a very good job of reducing the heat and light. They are not 100% room darkening however so, if you're looking for something like that, you will need to find curtains with a solid backing or multi-layered. I wasn't really concerned about this aspect, so it wasn't a deal breaker. I liked these because the backing is the same color as the fabric, so there's no visible color bleed-through. I also bought the white color and there is a significant difference between ivory and white. The ivory is a nice light beige color that goes perfectly with my walls. I didn't find it yellowish or khaki. If you're looking for something more like ecru, then you may not be happy with this color.

The fabric is soft and the color is beautiful! I ordered stone grey. It says it blocks 99% sunlight and that is true. Without blinds you can see a slight glow. With my blinds it is pitch dark in the room on a sunny day. I would recommend this to others.

We've hung two of these curtains in entryways near exterior doors to block the draft for the winter. They're hugely effective! It's often a notable difference on the other side of the curtain, and the power savings have already paid for them. These are an aesthetically pleasing alternative to the plastic thermal barriers in doorways. We used simple tension rods to hang them in archways and cut-throughs.
