Precautions and solutions to the bending and deformation of the template when some customers react to ironing.

Q: What if my pegboard bends?
A: Usually, there is only one reason why the board bends, the temperature of the iron is too high. you have put the iron on the work for too long.
The iron does not move, it is only ironed in a fixed place. High temperature and long time will naturally affect the bottom board to bend.
Therefore, you must move the iron when ironing. Moreover, as long as the temperature of the iron has reached, it will only take a few seconds to ironed one side.
Attention:
( 1 ) Please pay attention to the need to place the ironing pad between the iron and the fuse bean.
( 2 ) Do not iron at too high a temperature , the time is kept between 30 and 60 seconds
( 3 ) We recommend that you use a special small iron for fuse bean instead of a large iron at home.
( 4 ) Please keep even ironing and do not stay in a specific place for too long.
Solution:
( 1 ) If bending of the pegboard is found after ironing, please immediately place it under a heavy object and flatten it.
( 2 )If the cooled pegboard bent , you can use an electric hair dryer or iron to heat it and flatten it with heavy objects.

There is a trick to using these. You've gotta make sure as soon as your beads start to melt/stick that you flip it over and remove the pegboard, flip it back and continue to iron for the desired look.

Great to have a variety of shapes. The hexagon can also be used for triangle shaped patterns as the layout of the pegs are in triangles. The square interlocks with other squares to make a larger rectangle if you get multiple sets. If you want to be able to expand your variety of shapes, I strongly recommend getting these.

I was happy with the size of the items. So far I have only used the circle one. Unfortunately I do not like that it does not lay flat. It makes it more difficult when it comes to apply heat to it. I made it work but I wish it was flat.

I bought these quite a while ago, and today was the first time I tried to fuse the perler beads together using these templates. Imagine my son’s and my disappointment after his hours of creating designs to see that the melting point for these templates is the same as the melting point for the beads! In other words, the templates melted and warped, ruining his designs. We have been working with Perler Beads for years, and this has never happened before. It would be best to stick with templates that bear the bonafide Perler Beads brand.

One was defective, it was bowed upward so it melted when we ironed the beads.
