Quick uodate! I should have trusted and got 1X not 2X. So used to shrinkage! These do NOT keeoing them anyway and still 5 stars!!! These are exactly what I have searched for but unable to find in the chain stores! Pros and Cons. I am honest and have not received any discounts. I read and consider reviews, so if I can assist someone else we all win!I have Severe Lupus and RA. Growing up an outdoors I used to be a size 7-8 with 3 active kids, camping and the outdoors was our passion. Now 55 and 170 lbs with hyper sensitivity I have new appreciation for quality, fit and function.Pro's - I love natural fabrics. Mainly cotton that touch of Spandex is now a welcome addition! Pockets! The never ending search for pockets! These do not bulk out and are deep enough to feel secure that your what nots stay put. Length. These are perfect! Modest enough if you and the family eat out if caught in the rain but short enough for the summer heat. I bought the tan and the blue and both are the same which is not always the case.They are quality, material and zipper. Washed and dried (because they end up eventually accidentally in both) no piling and no shrinkage.I bought 2X specifically for this reason. Also the waist is not so high to cut off circulation and not so low you are worried about bending over. Being larger than I had, I had not realized what a difference this makes. If too low you must wear even longer shirts which just make you look bigger and feel hotter.Cons? I will update after I spill ketchup or other condiments on them. So, I am unable to be useful to date! But, they came earlier than expected and I am ready to hit the trail!P.S. Amazon CSR rocks. First vacation in 10 years and I am ready thanks to their help on my orders!!!

Update: I'm changing this from a 5 star to 4 star review. Really 3.5, but I'll round up. These shorts come out of the wash pretty wrinkled. The flap over the zipper is VERY wrinkled, which is very annoying. Who wants to iron anything, let alone shorts?Full Disclosure - I'm writing this review just after receiving these shorts. I haven't washed them yet, but my initial response is YAY! After reading several reviews I was on the verge of ordering a size up, but then read one very helpful review that mentioned these stretch out. This is pretty important, so I was surprised it wasn't noted elsewhere. When I first put these on, they were slightly snug around the hips and leg hems, but within a few minutes of walking and bending they fit very nicely. If I'd ordered a size up, they would have been saggy bottomed and I would have had to return them. The pockets are indeed quite shallow, so if the shorts are too tight around the hips they will bulge out. I'd still recommend getting your true size and doing a bit of yoga in them. The waistband is nice and wide, which I find very flattering. The material is soft cotton with a bit of stretch, so I anticipate they will shrink up in the wash and stretch out again. These are well tailored and will be perfect for a professional company picnic setting and weekend summer usage. The shorts hit just above my knee--I'm 5'6.5" inches with longer legs. I'm also short-waisted, somewhere between hourglass and pear shaped. I ordered a size 14W. Based upon the measurements provided by the company I probably would have been okay with the 13, but wanted the longer length and a little more room in the hips. Why don't more Amazon vendors provide their specific measurements? This is SO MUCH BETTER than the general Amazon size guidelines. I'm overall very pleased and will be ordering these in additional colors.

These shorts are well made. The material is of good quality and soft on my skin. The length is correct. I bought two colors, one of them which was "twill" white and the other was "blush". Both colors are as represented on the order page. Every once in a while you find a product at a very reasonable price that will last, is not deceptive with description of product, and is to your complete satisfaction. I am 5'4", 117 lbs, 27" waist. A size 5 was a good fit, not at all tight but if one would want it form-fitting, a smaller size would probably work since shorts have a nice stretch to them.

I’ve ordered a number of different brand of shorts trying to find some for life emerging from COVID. I ended up purchasing a number of these specific shorts because I liked the look and length. But the result is a mixed bag. I’m a big woman - 5’7†and approx 200 lbs and ordered size 18 (don’t judge. It’s not nice. I am just giving you the facts). The denim pair were nice and soft & stretchy, but too big. I will reorder in a size down. The khaki pair fit perfectly, but they have 3 micro slits/holes. See photos. Strange. But they fit great and I’ll keep them. The grey pair came in today. They are a bit baggy in the front and the overall fit is smaller than the denim but bigger than the khaki. If I put on 5-10 lbs they’ll be great. So I’ll keep them. This up coming week the shorts I ordered in black will be arriving. I’ll keep you posted. The 2 buttons plus two metal clasps that go along with the zipper are a bit much. But I love the feel and length of these shorts. They are all super soft and stretchy as I stated already. I’m going for the style, I admit it. Until I can find shorts I like better, I will keep these. The hunt continues. I hope you find this info helpful.UPDATE - the black ones came in. Pretty much the same story. The sizing is inconsistent. After wearing a pair for a few hours the fit becomes more “relaxâ€, meaning I wish I had a belt on. These are not THE shorts. The search continues ðŸ˜

La tela es buena y el corte es bastante cómodo a pesar de no ser muy holgado. Normalmente uso tallas 4-6 y me decidà por la talla 7 y me quedó justo como esperaba.
