I was going to give it a good review, but then their hose disconnected from the handle and broke a the final sanding. Guessing they should have used more aluminum.Contacted customer service, no response in over a week. Update, no customer service response after a month now.

Read the reviews before purchasing. wasn't surprised when it arrived that the brush strips extend beyond the sanding pad by approx. 1/4". I removed the brush strip, whish by the way is bonded in place along with tiny retaining screws. I used a dremel to remove the stops that the brush strip rests against in the vacuum hood. This allowed the brush strip to set deeper in the vacuum hood. That still wasn't enough so I ended up trimming the brushes flush with the sanding pad. My first inclination was to purchase a interface pad used on some electric pole sanders but was unsure which would work and they are $$$. Once modified and used in conjunction with a good vacuum setup I have no complaints.

It’s really exhausting. You have to push it so much harder than any other sander I’ve tried. That I just gave up after less than a minute.

Skirt is too long, needs too much pressure to sand well. Trim this bad boys skirt down, and we’d really get to business.

Round vs rectangle?Round wins hands down.More surface area, so faster sanding.Omni-directional, so easy to avoid striations, and easy to sand them out.No flipping and gouging. Avoiding just one gouge makes having the round sander well worth your while. It won't do inside corners. So you'll still need a small rectangle/square/triangle sander, or just a little hand sander, to get into the corners. Still worth it though, the round is just so much better on open spaces.Unpowered vs powered? The hand sander is light weight, inexpensive, and a great workout program.Powered is the upgrade. Specifically the Festool Planex. Best sander out there, great resale value, and only costs 10-15x as much. Yikes! But worth every penny if you're sanding drywall day in and day out all year long. (Or consider its strong resale value if you just have a job or two.)Even with the Festool though, the finest finish uses a hand pole (such as this) for that last pass.Inexpensive powered sanders?Nah. They're nothin' compared to the Festool. And the lightweight head of this hand sander is much better.Get some good quality sanding screens, 3M for example. And a powerful shop-vac with a washable filter, perhaps a foam prefilter. Don't skimp there. You'll clog the shop-vac filter up pretty fast, so if you're doing more than a room at a time you might want to add in one of those 5-gal bucket water traps. Or just swap in a fresh filter and clean the old one.

I have to purchase another because it was missing the adapter to fit shop vacuum. Not happy I had to wait 2weeks to receive and trying to complete a project....
