The seal was a little bit oversized and when I forced the piston in, it sheared part of the lip of the seal off.I decided to run with it and it seemed to be fine the way it is.So no complaints. It's only dumb if it doesn't work right?LoL

Unfortunately it wasn't compatible with my 40 year old wood splitter cylinder. (I couldn't find a match when I did an extensive part number cross-reference search. I had to bring it to a hydraulic repair and supply shop. They had to special order seals. They worked but even they couldn't obtain exact replacements.) That being said, it appears to be a comprehensive kit that should fit a variety of more modern cylinder designs. (I did some research and it looks like this kit is appropriate for more contemporary cylinders.). And at this price I really don't regret taking a gamble that these would work.

Did not include one seal. Not that it was missing a seal. It just was short of seal.
