It works but I had gotten a gauge from coliflower (hydraulic supply store) and it would not work with this hose because of the little nub on the end of the point and gauge so I had to buy a new test hose for my other gauge. But if you buy the kit with all the test hoses and gauges they would work just fine at a fraction of the cost of others but you may have to get adapters/unions depending on what you are testing due to different types of test ports
