Since it is constructed of PVC, it is softer than the polyethylene material, making it easier to work with, longer lasting and able to retain its shape longer than the standard PE material. Our corrugated tubing has corrugations on the exterior, but is smooth inside. Use our corrugated flexible non-split tubing to create a neat, finished appearance for any wiring system, including telephone, CATV, fiber optic and other cords and wires. Constructed of virgin polyethylene compounds, this non-split tubing is UV stable for outdoor applications, abrasion and stain resistant and provides a stable and durable platform for multiple cable or wire routing. It is available in sizes from 1/2 inch to 3 inch in pure black and safety orange colors.

I bought 25' of the 1".This thing is wonderful. There are basically 2 materials to it, a spiral and the rest in between the spiral.The spiral is very hard and strong while the material in between is a very soft and flexible rubber. As a result the whole tube is both strong and flexible. I would definitely trust it to walk on it (side pressure) yet there is a really great flex to it (bending).The inside is smooth (no patterns) but slightly rubbery so it might not be the most slippery thing ever. I still managed to pass 12' of two 4AWG wires that themselves also had a bit of a rubbery feel. Just make sure it's a perfect straight line when you push the cables, or use a first small wire to pull everything (what I did).Highly recommended quality product.

The 2.5 inch worked well for me. I used a shopvac to pull feeder line and baby powder through tube. Many cables fed through easily.

I purchased this cable to pull an HDMI from my tv to receiver behind the wall. It is a 25 ft run with 3 bends in it. I can’t pull anything through the tubing and won’t be able to use it as intended. The inner tubing is rubber and very soft. If I could do over I would purchase the blue smurf tube that has a hard inner tube.
