I received my hydrometers on time and intact. They were well packaged. These are not for measuring the alcohol content of beer, wine, or mash. They are strictly for measuring the proof of distilled products. It's always a good idea to have a spare because hydrometers are delicate and prone to breakage. All in all, highly satisfied with mine.

My dad needed these for his hobby! They work great! Glad it was a 2 pack because he said “why is there foam on the end of this?†And then dropped one and broke it xD

Both broke within a week with regular handling. This is the first time I have had this problem, trying another brand.

comes is a cardboard tube for storage. luckily I had the 2 piece plastic one from the last one I broke 9 these puppies are fragile!! probably go back to that brand when I inevitably break this one

I bought these because I already have a testing flask, imagine my joy when reading the sadly lacking instructions to discover they can't be used with a plastic flask, like the one I have.Nowhere in the description does it state this. Iwouldn't have bought them if it did.Also, the glass seems really thin so be very careful
