We just installed this light. We have a 2 foot deep tank, which has proven to be a bit of a challenge when it comes to lighting. Our tank is planted and needs light to reach all the way down to the gravel. This light is just what we need! Not only is it bright, it is amazingly customizable and easy to use. Highly recommended!Good quality, and very fair price!

The light is great and the plants do well with it . I had some issue with the timer not working properly so I contacted customer support and they were very responsive. Asked a few questions and asked for a video of the issue . They are sending me a replacement . Great customer service

Excellent light. I have a Fluval Flex 32 gallon tank. I was running Fluval Flex led hood with a second strip added. The Hyger strip is brighter yet not as harsh. The colors of the fish are so much deeper. I debated dropping to four stars due to the very confusing programming as many have stated. I am using a TP-Link switch to turn on and off, so I just use the 24/7 with all spectrum settings at 100%. Highly recommend for the Flex system over the standard hood.

This light says it is for freshwater, but it seems to light my 150 gallon reef tank pretty well. I just turned off the reds and reduced the white to get the right spectrum to not grow too much algae. These pictures are with one 48" light. I will likely oder a second one and run two, but even with one it is pretty bright. The timer is very flexible and has a lot to offer, but it took a bit to figure it out. I really like the customizable 24/7 option. It let's you add a lot of variety to the tanks visual appearance throughout the day and night. Like many other reviews say, it did not come with a battery. They are cheap, so no big deal.

The control mechanism did not come with batteries like others have said contrary to what the packaging or post says. Also, it does not keep accurate time. After a few weeks it was already several minutes ahead of other clocks.Light gets pretty hot but it is great and bright light which is nice and I do like, and adjusting the output % helps a little. The controls are very complicated but if you take an hour or so to set it up you only have to worry about fixing the time periodically, but don't forget to buy a battery or it will take you another hour if there is a power outage or it gets unplugged from power.

Great value light. Not sure how effective it is with my new planted setup yet but seems bright and good quality. Great features but one flaw that defeats the purpose of all features. This thing can't keep time. It gets off around 4 minutes every 24 hours. A half hour off every week is not good. Makes all features unusable unless I want to set the time every day.

I have used this on my 55-gallon aquarium for about 2 months. It's a bit tricky to program the first time, but the programming is very flexible. I have it running a day-time setting that is bright light, and a moonlight setting that is subdued blue-oriented light. The only problem, and for me it is minor, is thatit's internal clock loses time every day. It is easy to reset the clock when it is too far from real time. I recommend this and all Hygger products.
