2 Types of Power Operation,Ac and Dc Dual-Purpose
After plugging in the power adapter, the air pump can work while charging the battery. After the battery is fully charged, it does not charge and only works. After a power outage, the battery runs the air pump to work.

Warm Tips
- IPX6 waterproof, but avoid long-term exposure to moderate rain or above

This machine I've been running in a bucket before the tank is built and maybe to get the filter bags and the rock and wood wet it's been in there about 4 days already.THIS BATTERY IS QUICK TO CHARGE AND I'M RUNNING LIKE TWO OUT OF THE SIX AVAILABLE AIR STONES ONE IN EACH BUCKET.HELLA NICE PIECE OF EQUIPMENT REALLY DOES THE JOB DOES IT PERFECT.I'VE BEEN RUNNING IT USING THE BATTERY IN THE BUCKETS FOR ABOUT 4 DAYS NOW THE BUCKET BATTERY ON TWO LASTED ALMOST 26 HOURS AND ON THE THREE I'M ALREADY AT 26 HOURS AND IT'S STILL GOT THREE BARS LEFT SO IN USING IT WHEN YOU BUY IT IT HELPS BUILD THE BATTERY UP I GUESS BECAUSE WOW THIS IS AWESOME IF YOU'RE OUT FOR MORE THAN 24-HOUR PERIOD OF ELECTRICITY YOUR FISH WILL BE FINE WHEN YOU GET A CHANCE CHARGE THAT BACK UP IT CHARGES IN ABOUT AN HOUR AND A HALF WHILE USING IT EVEN AND YOU'RE BACK TO ANOTHER DAY OR TWO WITHOUT ANY ELECTRICITY FOR THIS PIECE OF EQUIPMENT IT REALLY WORKS WELL PLEASE.THE ONLY QUESTION I REALLY WORRY ABOUT IS HOW MANY YEARS IS THE BATTERY LAST FOUR OR FIVE BEFORE IT GOES BAD THAT'S WHAT I DO NOT LIKE.BUT I GIVE IT FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY AROUND IT IS AWESOME.

So glad I purchased this! It is so quiet for its size I never hear it which is wonderful and it has different settings. Puts out a good amount fair for different hoses I have going in my 36 gallon. And I’ve had some power surges and outages since getting it and never worry about it going off!!!

Awesome pump my power went out a few times the last couple of months for more than 4 hours and the back up battery saved my fish for sure I recommend this pump for any fishtank and fish lovers

The power in this is great. I cut the power off and there was no interruption. The battery kicked in without hesitation. It's great that we have the peace of mind... we don't have to worry that if our power goes out our tank and fish take a dive.

We had been looking for something like this for a while, so we could keep bait fish alive longer wile in transit to the lake. This is a bit overkill for our needs lol, but the battery life is great and it produces plenty of bubbles to keep the water aerated for hours.

We are using this on an outdoor 400+ gallon pond. It is powering two six inch air stones . It has performed perfectly since turning it on. The battery backup is a nice feature - an extra layer of protection for the fish.
