Package Included:

Effective biochemical filtration: Made from good materials, it is equipped with 4 filter sponges to filter impurities in water more effectively.
Replaceable filter media: Two kinds of filter materials: filter cotton (including 2 spares) + filter box (including filter ceramic ball). Biochemical cotton can be cleaned or replaced; the filter cartridge media can be replaced with other media such as carbon.
All parts of the sponge filter can be removed for cleaning. The bottom of the filter is rotated 360 degrees to change the direction of the sponge.
Comes with 2 suction cups that can be installed anywhere.
Improve dissolved oxygen: The combined use of air pumps can increase the oxygen level in the water, achieve oxygenation and dual biological filtration, and keep the water clean. The air and water outlets are adjustable so you can change direction and height.
Cultivation: The ribbed sponge has a large surface area, which facilitates colonization and accelerated circulation. Energy saving without noise: With the air pump as the driving force, there is no power device itself, and there is no noise during operation.
Note:
- When using for the first time, squeeze the sponge filter into the water tank for 5 minutes, easy to filter.
- Use the water in the aquarium when washing the sponge. Do not rinse the sponge with a tap or hot water until you see no more dirty water in the sponge.
- It is recommended to replace the sponge and bioceramic ball every 6-8 months.
- This product needs to be equipped with an air pump separately.

It just works. I was able to drop in some bio-media from my previous HOB filter that already had a decent bio-load, so swapping out for this had no impact on the nitrogen cycle. Perfect for my 10 gallon betta tank, as they prefer calm water with very little movement (the HOBs just generate too much current for my/his liking).After installing this with the Hygger air pump set to the lowest setting, I've noticed my lil guy exploring much more of his tank!

This filter is perfect. For years I bought those replacement filters for my S10 and felt so wasteful. This filter hardly needs cleaning, and when it does, it takes 5 minutes. It hardly makes any noise while in use too!! I have the spout above the waterline to increase ocygen flow in the tank. Amazing!

I like the sponge filter and it works well but I think it just takes way too much of my 10 gallon. But it is okay and I like how it shows you how to clean the sponge filter. It is okay.

I have been using this filter in my 20 gallon tank for a year now and it works great. My water is consistently clear and has safe ammonia levels. I love the design and find it easy to hide in the back of the tank behind a tall plant. Cleaning is simple, I just remove the sponges at the time that I change the water, I then squish the sponges in fresh water until it runs clean and then replace them in the tank. The substrate seems to maintain the healthy bacteria because the tank continues to run well after cleaning. They are quick and easy to maintain. Highly recommend, especiallly because you will never have to replace filters again

I bought this to replace a large regular sponge filter because I really liked the idea of being able to add bio media with the sponge bio media capacity.This is roughly 2 to 3 times the size of the filter it’s replacing but I’m okay with that because of the compartments that I can customize any way I want. In one side I did use the biomedia included after rinsing due to dustiness . It seems good quality, in the other compartment I put crushed coral to help keep my tank ph stable and it also houses beneficial bacteria on its surface.It holds nicely to the wall of the aquarium so I don’t mind it being larger. It has an adjustable flow tube on top but I just have it in the lowest position. So far it’s very quiet.I think this one will be pretty easy to clean, but I did buy the smaller version for my shrimp tank and I think that one is going to be a little tougher.I’m hoping they work half as well as the sponge filters they’re replacing

AMAZING FILTER!! GO TO AQUAMOTIV SITE AND SAVE MONEY THOUGH!!! SAME BRAND FOR 17$!!! love that you can filter media through it with a sponge filter!!! absolutely amazing design! creates an amazing flow in your water too! kind of difficult to assemble but i think it was just me being off a 10 hour shift lol. definitely not the greatest plastic but who cares they work!! comes with two extra sponges too!

Replaced my basic sponge filter with this bad boy. Aquarium is quieter due to adjustable-height outlet for water at the top and I love the increased filtration surface area (including the leca). Shrimp have more to graze on. A very solid buy.

I got this today and set it up, so far this seems to be great! Cleared my water up really well and moves the surface just enough! I also really like the fact that it has the removable bases, which I added my own materials to and not what it came with! Did filter media on one side and carbon on the other! Seems to be really quiet and perfect strength for my betta!

It’s doing a decent job in my 10 gallon but it’s not stocked much at all. Will update again if I can but not bad for the price after about a month of use would buy again for another small setup.

It works great ... the air pump hose did not fit but I had another piece on hand so all worked out. Next time I'll make sure A fits with B.
