The chair assembles in about 25 minutes, no issues. Directions are well-written and clear. One extra fastener of each type is included in case one is misplaced during assembly. Only one tool is required and it is included. The components feel well-engineered.My particular shipping box was dropped, probably off the back of a truck. It was smashed really good. Somebody added a bunch of tape mid-shipment to hold the box together. However, the chair's components are so robust none were damaged.It is very comfortable.I'm 71" tall. Good range of height adjustment. The seat is adjustable from 23" to 30" above the floor (an actual measurement).My workbench is 36" high. The lowest height adjustment is about 1" too low, the highest adjustment is far too high. This Hylone would make an outstanding pub chair, but I have forgotten the standard height of a bar.The foot ring adjusts easily and seems robust.Fabric is some kinda breathable material, so no worries about it getting sticky in humid climates.The arms swing up and out of the way further than I expected. Movement is smooth yet firm.The gas cylinder, tilt-lock and tilt-tension adjustments work very well.The wheels roll effortlessly and quietly. My concrete basement floor has a gentle slope, gravity slowly pulls the chair exactly to the center of the drain every single time - no matter where I place the chair - remarkable. A couple square feet of thin carpeting under the chair prevents gravity from winning.I'm satisfied with the entire experience, something that does not often occur.

I bought this drafting chair after returning a namebrand chair (at twice the cost). The returned chair was uncomfortable. This chair is very comfortable. The seat and arm rest padding are soft and supportive. The height of this chair is the highest I've seen in a drafting chair. The materials appear to be high quality. Only time will tell. It was easy to assemlbe but you need two people.

I love the comfort of this seat but I couldn't roll around well. Any change of direction locked up the rollerblade wheels. I would have to get up to change direction. I bought a plastic mat, no help. I bought a glass mat, no help. I bought new double wheel kit and it is golden.

The kids were always fighting over the chair that extended tall enough to use at our computer bench so we bought this chair. It extends that high and higher. It works great, seems to be of great quality except that one of the screws keeps falling out. I need to get some loctite and put it back in so it doesn't fall out.

So far, I am pleased with this chair. I purchased this item more as a "gaming" chair rather than for an office setting. So, it is unlikely I will sit in it for long periods of time like a traditional office chair. It was relatively easy to put together, and the materials felt sturdy and of decent quality for what it is. I do like the rubber casters as it reduces the noise when moving it, and I am not concerned of damaging the hardwood floors. It is comfortable to sit in, and it rises to a decent height if needed. For a short term review and initial impressions, I am pleased with this. However, time will tell how the cushion and the gas cylinder holds up over time.

So far this chair has met all expectations. Comfortable, sturdy and the upgraded wheels roll nicely. Really easy to assemble. Whether the pneumatic height adjustment holds up remains to be seen. Typically that's the weak link in these type chair.
