I have used the MD Central Hyperflow bags for my 12-gallon central vacuum for many years. What I thought I was ordering was the size and model# pictured in the listing, but what I received was the newer version. The newer bags are smaller/shorter. The manufacturer (MD Central Vacuum) states on their website that they have gone to one size bag that fits both the 8 and 12-gallon canisters for central vacuums. The version I received was model # 720HF-5. So, the bottom line is that these are OEM bags, nice quality, but they are different than expected. However, they should work just fine. I am not sure whether they will hold the same amount of debris as the older, larger bags, but I usually change the bag before it is completely full anyway. The price on Amazon was almost 25% less than on the manufacturer website.

These bags are difficult to find. You will find they are perfectly made for your in house MD vacuum. They filter everything yet do not interfere with the suction rate. I highly recommend

My exiting bags are 12-gallon product number #721H-5. They are huge and made with heavy, multilayered non-woven materials that enable a year's worth of good performance.The "Product Information Table" in the product page states the product number is #721H-5. So that is what I thought I was buying. The bags I received were marked #720HF-5 and are 8-gallon bags made from oh-so-thin material.What! I thought I was buying #721H-5!The correct model number should be in the Product Information Table that we all reference quickly to ensure the new product matches our existing product.Nowhere in the company's Amazon product page is the new product numbered mentioned. Nowhere does it state the bag is an 8-gallon bag instead of a 12-gallon bag.There is an unclear statement in fine print in the middle of a paragraph stating "these bags replace the older #721-5." But that number is not the number of my old bags and the new product number is not stated in the product information table.Finally, the new bags I received are labeled #720HF-5. Stated on these new bags are the words they are replacement bags for #721H-5. And an adhesive label on the product bag states its a 12-gallon bag. But the bag is only a 8 gallon bag. It barely fits in a 5-gallon bucket.I was very disappointed in this company not being fully transparent. (It is so common these days.)I was extremely disappointed in the size and quality of these vacuum cleaner bags. I will be shopping aftermarket bags in the future and will not go near this less-than-transparent company again.I will send vacuum cleaner bags back if it is a free return.
