These balusters are excellent. On my previous project I used pink fiberglass rebar thinking that would be a big improvement over pressure treated wood balusters since those tend to warp. I didn't take into account the pain involved in dipping the pink fiberglass rebar into paint and standing them up to dry.I figured since I could buy the fiberglass rebar relatively cheaply and cut it on my chop saw, that'd be the way to go. Well, the project turned out pretty amazing but the painting was a huge drawback. Never again. One thing I learned after installing about 90% of the rebar is that you can actually mount the top and bottom support rails prior to inserting the balusters. The trick is to drill a 1/2" hole in the bottom 2x6, and a 3" hole in the top 2x4. That makes the opening longer than the baluster and you can slide the baluster up into the top support rail, then lower it into the bottom support rail. Then fill in the bottom hole with copious amounts of caulking. That's a free pro-tip for you right there. So with these aluminum balusters I used the provided connectors on the bottom but not the top. As long as you drill a hole in the top support rail you can go "top in, bottom in" and you're good. These balusters are excellent and I would order them again.

If you need balusters in bulk and aluminum is an ok medium this is a great buy. I wanted medium because I wanted to install these outside. Aluminum does great in the elements and it's strong enough to give me structural integrity so for me it was the perfect choice. The balusters did happen to be thicker and heavier than I anticipated so that was a nice surprise. Overall the entire experience was good.Until We Meet Again-Off the Grid Ken

I have so much work to do outside before I can put these on my deck but For now until I am able to assemble the railings, I'll say they look nice. exactly how I imagined. I didn't see any instructions but that's ok, my friend knows what he's doing. Seems to be good solid black spindles.

This is a good inclusive Aluminum Deck Balusters pack. Some only come with the poles and not the connectors down at the bottom. These come with the normal vertical ones and the ones that you would need for a 30 Degree decline, making you job a lot easier. These look good and is a good size at ¾â€. The coating on the spindles look good and are coated well. There were no noticeable defect in any of the enclosed parts. Overall, a good setup.

I live in Ohio and it's January, so needless to say, I'm not using these right now. BUT...this spring, we're putting a deck on my buddy's house in the country, and these are the balusters we're going to use. Being all aluminum, rust is 0 concern, which we're a fan of. This comes with all the additional hardware you're going to need as well, including screws, but one thing I want to point out is that the included screws aren't stainless steel, as least I'm pretty positive they aren't stainless steel. So I might take the extra step of replacing the included screws with some stainless-steel variants, just to avoid any future "rust spotting" that will inevitably occur with a plain steel screw. If you're not going to do your entire deck in stainless steel like we are, this will probably be unnecessary for most of you, but it's something to consider. In all, I really don't have any complaints. Taking a few of them out of the box, they look like perfectly fine black aluminum tubes. The coating looks good, they all seem straight. I didn't see anything that gave me pause. Honestly, I can hardly wait for spring so we can get started building. 5 stars.

These balusters by Hypergiant are finished well with a nice anti-rust coating over aluminum. I didn't see any scratches or dings. I appreciate that this is not just balusters but a complete kit. It comes with enough flat-mount baluster connectors to mount all 105 balusters. Plus another 30 angled connectors for a stair rail. The mounts, especially the angled mounts gave me a frustration-free project that looks good.

Okay, so I know it was my fault and I did not fully measure so I ordered the wrong size which then caused more work for me to actually use them. I should have got the 36's instead of the 32's. They are actually pretty decent and I like the look a lot more than the standard wood baluster. However, they are a bit of a pain to install if you have an existing deck, unless you remove the whole top board, which was the pain part. After you remove that then you have to measure everything perfectly before screwing on the attach adapters, otherwise you will have crooked spindles. However, even with all that they were still a good value and I was able to get them to work so overall happy with these but I am sure there are other easier ones out there to install without disassembling the whole deck sides.
