This little ZIBOO UT-201E surprised me with the solid feel and simple one handed functionality. I have owned dozens of multimeters over the years, all the way back to a Heathkit desktop VTVM which actually used a vacuum tube for higher power handling capabilities before transistors could affordability make the grade. Most of the latest small form factor meters I have used are very cheaply made. That's not at all the case here. This little meter literally feels like it's solid. It's packed in a nice looking graphic laden and otherwise informative box, which will present well as a gift. It includes a pair of very inexpensive but functional probes. These will typically not prove very durable unless handled with care. But, a quality set of silicone insulated ones will cost almost as much as this meter. So, it's easy to understand why they aren't included.I won't go through the functions one by one as they are pretty standard. The clamp current function is very useful as is the capacitance function. I like the big, grippy one thumb action function switch. My other similar meter is not so ergonomic. The operation is intuitive. But, I really do not like that there are no instructions included at all. I am very tempted to drop a star for this. I can not understand how a company can put all the time and effort into designing and producing such a fine little meter and not spend the literal cents to include an even rudimentary instruction manual/page. You can find this information on line. But, you shouldn't have to go looking for it and what you find might not exactly match this meter. For me, who is experienced with the operation of such things, I can wing it. Still, I have to poke and prod the buttons to do some less intuitive things. If you are a nooby you might struggle. The cost is very competitive, so it's difficult to nit pick. But, still I think a very simple case should be included. You get nothing, which makes carrying the meter and probes securely in your tool bag less than optimum. My other similarly priced meter has a nice little zippered and compartmented nylon case for meter and probes.Overall, I'm very pleased. I'm on the fence as to dropping a star for lack of instructions and case. But the cost and high quality compel me to round up.

This i600e AC clamp meter is great for quick measurements. It paired nicely with my multimeter. It is very lightweight and easy to use. The banana plugs fit nice and snug the way they should. The coiled cable easily stretches and retracts. This comes in handy when I'm doing electrical work around my house. My brother is an electrician, so I usually use his tools, but I've decided to just get my own setuo to stop bothering him. I like that this is just an even 1 mv / 1a. This makes it easy to use and understand. To use this and get a proper reading, you want to isolate the live wire and clamp it. You don't want to walk around your home testing out stuff you have plugged into a wall like lamp cords and things of that nature unless you split the wires. I'm sure everyone buying a meter knows this, but sometimes there is that one person who needs to hear this. This does work and it's pretty accurate.

Needed something to diagnose some AC electrical issues I was seeing and try to identify if a compressor was going bad. The clamp load meter worked fine and helped me confirm my suspicions. Simple inexpensive tool for high current testing. Beyond that I didn't expect much but the leads are pretty low quality and the connections on the unit don't hold well. I also had no faith in the non-contact reading as it wouldn't pick up a live socket on several occasions when I was testing it. That's a pretty big no-no in my book. Worked for my very narrow one time use case, but not something I'd want in a tool bag I was using regularly.

My little multimeter really struggles with this clamp to measure the amperage. I hooked it up to the main house breaker, but the house was simply not pulling enough load to register enough mV to get any good reading on my cheap multimeter. The rest of it seems fine but it would be much better if it had an amplifier circuit option to increase the voltage output for low currents so that we could measure with low sensitivity multimeters. My meter only measures down to 0.1 V so I would need 100 A just to be able to see the first indications of current. A 100 fold increase in the voltage would make it a lot easier to use.

I recently purchased the ZIBOO UT210E Clamp Meter Digital Multimeter, and it has quickly become an essential tool in my toolkit. Here’s why it stands out:The build quality of the UT210E is excellent. It's compact and handheld, making it easy to carry around and use in tight spaces. Despite its small size, it feels sturdy and durable, capable of withstanding daily use.One of the standout features is its true RMS capability, which ensures accurate readings for both AC and DC measurements. This is crucial for anyone working with electrical systems where precision is vital. The clamp meter function is particularly useful for measuring current without the need to break the circuit, saving time and effort. The multimeter also includes a wide range of functions, including resistance, continuity, and diode testing. The large, clear display with backlight makes it easy to read measurements even in low-light conditions. The auto-ranging feature is a nice touch, simplifying the process and reducing the chance of errors.Overall, the ZIBOO UT210E Clamp Meter Digital Multimeter offers reliability, versatility, and ease of use. It's a fantastic tool for both professional electricians and DIY enthusiasts. Highly recommended for its accurate measurements and user-friendly design
