I didn’t buy this for protection—honestly, there’s nothing to protect. I either take the top off or put it on. I got it primarily for noise and air insulation, and I noticed a significant improvement.Looks perfect. Almost like a weather seal for the top.I purchased the 2-door version, it already had the guiding pin holes.Unlike the 4-door version. No workaround or drilling required. Works with hard top.Installation Tips and Notes:Use a heat gun (or a hair dryer if you don’t have one, though a heat gun is better). Heat up the tape before applying it. If there are any kinks afterward, heat them up and press down firmly—it really makes a difference.Bolts: Removing the four painted bolts from the body rail will scratch the paint. After installing the protectors, put the bolts back on and use touch-up paint to make them look nice and shiny again.

I have bought this thinking it will hold. I followed the instructions and the adhesive is starting to come off.

Parts works just fine, but make sure you have a soft top as this doesn’t fit a hard top. As i learned recently.
