Wife got a new 2015 jeep Cherokee. Did t come factory with a 3rd brake light flasher. Bought and installed this for safety and for our children. Was surprised to find out when testing it. Had the F1 style fast 5 flashers. Then, 5 slower ones before becoming solid. Easy install once you figure out how to remove the trim pieces. Gonna add the other one to my 01 F150.

In these days of distracted driving, you need every advantage you can get. A cheap way to insure you're not rear ended by some idiot. I had mine installed, so I can't comment on ease of installation. If you're buying one make sure it's the proper one for your vehicle. Also, make sure you have a LED in your 3rd break light. You'll burn up an incandescent bulb real quick.

This product is waterproof and I still have them on my 2017 Honda Civic working with no problems going to order another set I added custom lights on the bumper you will not go wrong worth buying

definitely need crimpers to install these properly but they went in easily and worked perfectly the first time

After installing one on Dodge Durango, it worked initially but stopped working. I replaced it with the second one and it did the same thing. I found it was due to my third brake light being incandescent; I thought it was an LED but it's not. I installed one in my pickup that has n aftermarket LED third brake light and it works great. So I have 3 choices.1. Leave it out and have no flash2. Get one compatible with incandescent lights (about $15)3. Buy an LED brake light and use one of these.3 stars because it should more clearly state in the advertisement "FOR LED ONLY" and I should have not assumed I had an LED light.
