Fan works great and has some interesting adjustment features. It keeps the laptops cool while being pretty quiet about it. The top could use some more rubber bits to keep laptops from sliding around a little more.

My 2-year-old laptop was starting to run a bit hot and the fan would run almost constantly. It was also rather noisy when it would run, which I'm assuming was an issue with the fan, either dirt or dust, etc. Before resorting to trying to take it apart, I decided to try this cooling pad. It has 6 fans which run very quietly and it has cut down the time my laptop fan has to run. It's been working great and I'm glad I bought it. I may still have to get into the laptop at some point and clean the fan, but this has been a great help!

I bought this to cool my Tablo unit and an external hard drive, which was suffering from what I thought were heat-related issues. The ICE COOREL Cooling Pad worked great and eliminated my problems.When I first installed the fans were very quiet. I liked that I could adjust the speed of the fans. The build quality is better than I expected. The one option I wish you could do is turn off the lighting, I really did not need or want the constant lights when it is on.It has been getting louder for a few months, it is loud now. It sounds like the fan's bearing (if it has bearings) has gone bad.I have let this run 24/7 since I got it so that would be 12,960 hours on the fans so I might have just gotten to the end-of-line for the fans. I suspect most people would not run these 24/7.

I had a different brand at first and right after the return window closed one of the fan motors started howling. I got my first one of this brand and used it for the better part of a year before I dropped it and it broke. (I can't fault the cooling pad for me being a clutz). So went back and ordered my 2nd one.

The fan in my laptop stopped working. Laptop would overheat and acted flakey. It was cheaper than buying new laptop. I do wonder why it was necessary to put blue LEDs to shine through each fan. I can't see the LEDs when the laptop is mounted on the cooler. I'm not a gamer.

Die Tmeperaturen für CPU und GPU steigen um 4°C. Es scheint der Hohlraum zwischen Laptiop und Lüfter zu groß zu sein. So können die "schwachen "Lüfter" nichts bewirken!
