To me food safety is extremely important. Both my husband and I have had extreme cases of food poisoning in the past. I ordered this ice tray to help make certain that cold food stay cold anytime we have food that sits out for any length of time. I like the way this tray works. You just put two freezer packs underneath the main serving area and you’re ready to go. It works surprisingly well and looks spectacular. It may be a little bit extra, but that’s how we roll. I love it, especially the lid.

This ice food serving display is made well of heavy-duty materials and is commercial quality It's probably excessive for personal use but I love it. I did my first run with it at an event this weekend and it worked out so well for my cold food. It's easy to set up and clean. It is obviously bulky to store but worth it in my opinion.My Review Criteria: I do not review anything that I don't want/need for my own personal use and I have enough knowledge about it to provide accurate and useful details. I’ve owned a catering and event planning company for almost 20 years and we are always looking for new and innovative serving pieces. This cold serving chaffing dish fits the bill. It is PERFECT for serving shrimp, crab claws, sushi and more! It looks so nice, the clear roll top protects your food, so this works great for outdoor events as well. I am going to order a few more of these for when we have larger events. So pleased with this. It’s sturdy, but not super heavy like you think it would be. Highly recommend!

This is great for anything you need to keep cold. Fruit, veggie, pastries, whatever. There are 2 reusable ice packs you fill with water and freeze that you can add to the bottom so you don't need to fill the bottom with cold water or ice (although you could) and have to carry a heavy container. The dome lid works well. It just sits on top but it's easy enough to open the hatches. And it makes your buffet look all kinds of fancy.

This is big enough for a family gathering to keep a serving tray of munchies cold. It’s easy to set up and stays cold for a long time. It holds a decent amount and keeps it protected from flies. This is an awesome addition to the kitchen if you have people over for gatherings.

This buffet set for cold products is large and convenient. It is perfect for displaying parfaits and cakes that need to be kept cold. It works great to add water to the tray and freeze it; I also fill the ice packs with water before filling the tray. This set works well and holds temps; I will be getting a second set. The cover adds a professional touch.
