Works as advertised, fixed my overflowing ice maker. Strange that something like this needs replacement in first place 🤷

Thought I ordered the white plastic unit as that is what the image on Amazon showed and the original sensor in my ice machine was white plastic. Instead I received a unit with the metal, stainless steel looking finish. It is working fine in my KitchenAid KUIX335H 15" under counter ice machine. The original thermistor worked properly for 2 years, then the replacement only lasted one year. This is the third one and will see how long this one functions properly. When they fail, the ice machine does not sense when it is full and continues to make ice to the point of overflow. The unit is easy to install and way less expensive than the replacement KitchenAid Part sells.
