This premium deicing product is effective down to extreme cold temperatures and saver for the environment. Organic Melt is enhanced with our patented organic deicing liquid derived from degraded sugar-beets, for maximum melting power.

It works pretty well on ice & snow. It doesn’t irritate my dogs feet. It does tend to clump, so you get some waste.

Just tried the product for the first time and applied it late in the evening based on delivery time of the product. There was a snow storm in my area. I will see the effectiveness the day after application. Product is made of medium to large size granules that are yellowish brown. I didn’t wear gloves but sprinkled on my driveway and sidewalk with plastic containers. I did notice a slight burning feeling on my hands so I wouldn’t use this in pet areas. I am trying Natural Rapport from Chewy’s for pet areas. It’s good to have some type of ice melt in storage during the winter months and when snow storms are predicted. Please use safe products in pet areas.

I recently tried Eco Solutions Ice Melting Salt, and I’m extremely impressed with its performance. Unlike traditional rock salt, this product is eco-friendly and pet-safe, which was a major selling point for me. It melts ice quickly, even in sub-zero temperatures, and provides great traction on walkways and driveways.

This product certainly works to melt stubborn ice on sidewalks, steps and driveways. I use this rather than salt because it's pet-friendly and doesn't harm my daughter's dog's paw pads. However, I find it does stain concrete, and can't be easily washed off. It's also expensive relative to salt products. I can easily use a whole canister in one application. The most economical way to purchase is by buying the canisters and then refilling them from the 20 kg bulk bags. Should be used sparingly!
