I never thought I'd need an ice pick, but after hurricane Milton we were without potable water for days! The national guard provided us with ice, so I'd put it in the freezer and it would become a solid block. Nothing would break into it! I ordered this ice pick and the problem was solved! It has a great rubber grip, and the pointed end does not look like a weapon, but is very sharp and penetrates well. This was a great buy for the money and is a high quality tool. I'm sure we'll have it for years.

It is literally the greatest of all time ice pick. We buy bagged ice and i have been through two ice picks in the past 6 months. Bone even had 4 or 5 points on it, and I would have to whack away at the ice over and over to break it apart. Several of the "teeth" even broke off. This one is a monster, and just one or two careful jabs will break it all apart. Love, love, love!
