First of all the ice packs are great and you get so many. They are easy to fill and they freeze hard in the freezer. The vest fit and is light BUT I had to make adjustments because first of all the top ice pockets were sewn larger than the bottom two. I had to take out the stitching on the bottom two and make one big pocket. Second there is a foam plastic lining on one size of the pockets that I had to tear out to feel more of the cold packs. Third the straps are annoying to buckle and unbuckle. I will have to cut them off and put Velcro closures on. Fourth, I need ice pockets above the chest which this falls on the chest and below. I can't do much about that unless I sew some pockets on top. It felt cool on my body, mostly my back, after a hot 30 minute walk. Fifth this came with two small cooler bags. It should've been one large bag to carry the whole vest after using. I would also like a large freezer bag to store the entire vest in the freezer with the ice packs in it since it is annoying to have to unpack and repack. Keep in mind the more ice packs you wear, the more weight you are carrying on your body so it's almost like Rucking. I may even remove the mesh because it possibly blocks the cooling as well.
