Function
  • If you receive your refrigerator and find it upside down, please leave it upright for at least 6 hours before using it.

  • The JP Series is a single-zone refrigerator and only the main refrigeration zone temperature can be set. Compartment temperatures cannot be controlled, therefore we do not recommend using the compartments as colder fridge.

  • JP30 height with the lid open is 34.6"

JP40 height with the lid open is 37"

JP50 height with the lid open is 40"

  • Yes, it is. Because the refrigerator compressor has energy-saving characteristics, the compressor will stop working to keep warm when it reaches the set temperature. After a period of time, the compressor will work again for refrigeration.

  • Yes, the ICECO JP series refrigerator has now been upgraded to a refrigerator with APP. Our APP has been upgraded with a new version, and you can download the latest version of APP by searching "ICECO" in the "App Store".

The ICECO JP30 runs very quiet with minimal compressor noise (no high pitched coil while like my old Alpicool fridge!). The insulation of the JP30 is also very good, and, combined with the efficient compressor, it only drew about ~150W over a span of 10 hours in about ~80F ambient temperature. The fridge also appears to be very sturdy and well built, and it functioned as expected during a multi-day off grid camping trip. This is the *best* fridge I have found so far that fits perfectly between the driver's seat and 2nd row seats in my 5th gen 4Runner with the 3rd row seat option. My only very minor gripe with the fridge is with the extension cable that it comes bundled with. It's not ICECO's fault, but something to keep in mind is that the extension cable should only be used if your 12V power source is ~12.80V +, the higher the better. For most people, it should be no problem if the fridge is plugged into their car's 12V socket, since it will likely read between 13-14V. When I used the extension cable with my Ecoflow River 2 (with an output power of 12.64V), the extra length of the cable added just enough resistance that caused the fridge to show an "E3" error from the compressor not being able to kick on from the voltage drop. Without the extension cable, the fridge functions perfectly fine.

I searched for months looking for the right compressor freezer. I Initially came upon the Dometics through countless YouTube endorsements. When I realized the price, I was very sad because I did not want to spend a thousand dollars. I started looking for cheaper options, and I found many of them, some had amazing feature sets. As I researched more, I thought I found what I wanted, but there were so many reviews related to Poor durability and longevity. I started thinking I would either need to take a huge gamble and buy a low priced unit or get a Dometic. Neither option left me feeling happy. One day, I came across a YouTube review of an ICECO freezer. The review faved about the great Dan Foss compressor, the same one used in units costing over twice as much. As an engineer, I love technical quality over bells and whistles. I just want it to work well. More research continued to show how pleased people were with the freezers - they are quiet, they are energy efficient, and they are made with the highest quality parts. My choice was made. One day, they came on sale and without hesitation, I bought one. Unit came well packaged, included a case for greater protection and additional insulation, the proper cords for home and car use, and a car cable extension cord in case you have a lighter socket in the front but the unit is in the back. I have taken my unit to Bryce Canyon, Zion, and the Grand Canyon. It has worked great. I love that I no longer need to buy ice, in facT, I used it to make ice. ICECO is a great blend of highest level features at great prices. I’m already thinking about the next ICECO I want. I also had a question and their a customer support is excellent.

Works great. I needed a fridge/freezer for my new 2024 Aliner Scout. This is the largest capacity unit I could fit in the cabinet space provided. Connected it to 12V that I created in the space via a dual cigarette style power adaptor. Cooled from room temp to 21 Deg F in less than 30 minutes, I was very impressed. I built a slider in the space from a Lowes sliding trash can shelf. Worked perfectly and less than 1/3 the cost of the Iceco shelf ($200). The ICECO unit is well made, quiet and is very efficient.

So just returned from a 14 day camping trip and I have to say why I waited so long to buy one of these I don’t know. The quality is rugged, as we moved it around often. The controls are easy to use. There are only a few settings to understand. Power on or off, max or eco setting and the temp up or down. Other than the original cool down I only used the eco setting. This usually drew 30-40 watts when it was running. That was good because the bag and cooler insulation was good so it didn’t run all the time.I have a Tundra truck and in the bed is a DC outlet. I mostly had it plugged in there while driving and sitting in the back of my truck through 80-100 degree temps it stayed cold. When I wasn’t driving I had it plugged mostly into a Bluetti 268wh external battery. That usually lasted all day, then would need a recharge. I have sent that back and opted for a Eco flow 768wh pack to get three days worth of run time. Otherwise I had it plugged into AC in my pop up trailer. So now for the drawbacks. We often froze food we wanted cold. The temp range from bottom to top could be 6-12 degrees. And even warmer in the little side pocket. I ended up figuring out that veggies and condiments can go in the grey side spot and on top. It does require some constant shuffling of stuff. Once we got the hang of it everything was kept pretty well where we needed.I ended up buying a battery thermometer to leave inside(see pics) it was around 25$ here on Amazon I think. That allowed me to keep the monitor nearby or in cab of truck and the sensor in the cooler. The unit hilt i. thermometer I believe must be on bottom of cooler? The temp pics show difference between thermometer and actual ready out from different parts of the cooler. The 27 degree vs 45 was in the side compartment, the 27 degree vs 39 was at top of basket in main. All in 81 degree house. The last picture shows wattage draw on the Bluetti. In conclusion: the high quality compressor, rugged design and low wattage needed to run the unit makes this a sold buy product. I would rate it 4.5/5 stars, for the temperature inconsistency but since I can’t I left it 5 stars. I went through 10 bags of ice in my yeti during the same time. At 4.99$ per bag that’s already $50 I saved towards the cost of the unit.
