I've been using these filters in my Pur water filter for a few years now. They are a perfect replacement and much more affordable than the name brand filters.

I always buy the PUR replacement filters but they seem to never be in stock so I tried these and was pleasantly surprised. I have read some of the other reviews from people who say they do not filter the water. They are so wrong because it filters very well, I even think the water taste better then from the PUR filter. True it does come out faster then the PUR but it is absolutely working. Not to mention it is a good value for the money and will probably continue to use these filters as my replacements.

The first replacement used worked great, after the first one no other replacements worked. It does not filter the water and leaves it with a bad taste.

The water does not enter the filter but by-passes. We have used the original PUR filters for a long time and then decided to try this - what a waste.
