This was an excellent replacement for our factory installed inner skylight. The ICON is slightly larger and taller than the one I had but it still fit in the standard opening without an issue. The clear panel is pretty thick and crystal clear. There is a protective film on the outside that you have to remove, contrary to what other reviews here have stated. The ICON model is not pre-drilled which is not a bad thing. Using the old skylight as a guide, I drilled pilot holes in the same pattern as was used on the original. Overall, a pretty easy install and it looks great.

This clear icon dome was exactly what I needed to replace my damaged OEM dome. Installation was a piece of cake, and it looks and fits like the OEM.

This inner skylight is Junk. About 3 weeks after install, one end of the plexiglass popped up. I was in the middle of selling my home and relocating to a purchased lot in an RV Park and did not have time to send it back so I missed the return by date so I am out a hundred plus bucks. I took it off and put some gorilla tape on it hoping it would hold it down but it did not so I ordered one from Duo-Form. Do not by this product. The Duo-Form is a much better product for this application. BTW this was the second one I received. The first one came to me with a sticker on the top of the Plexiglass that would not come completely off so I returned it.

The product itself was good. However, the instructions mention you can't return turn if the film is removed from the plexiglass. There was no film to protect the plexiglass AND the company did NOT use a pressure sensitive label, which was stuck right in the middle of the sky light. Could not get the sticker and adhesive off without resorting to something that would scratch or mar the plexiglass. Disappointed.

It was a “perfect†fit on our 2002 RV. Old one was weathered and cracked, it’s a huge update. Install was done by our repair man, but he said it was easy fix. Looks awesome!

Ours fit very well. When we first received the item there were scratches with no protective film. I contacted customer service and returned the scratched on and got a replacement very quickly.

Decently thick plexi, and quality molding. Not just a cheap vacuum forming, but that does make it more expensive.
