Symptoms of a Failed ICP Sensor
If you are experiencing oil coming out of the ICP Sensor's electrical connector, weird noises on idle during first starts, hesitation or misfires and a Check Engine Light (CEL) with codes P2285 or related ICP codes P2283, P2284, P2286 and P2287 then you may have a problem with your ICP sensor.
This is a compatible replacement part manufactured by AA Ignition. This ICP Sensor is NOT a genuine Ford or Motorcraft part. Ford and their associated vehicle models and part numbers are used in this listing only to identify the vehicles this ICP Sensor fits.
Complete ICP Sensor & Pigtail Harness Replacement Kit Includes:
ICP Sensor
The included ICP sensor includes a preinstalled o-ring and is a direct replacement for the factory sensor.
Pigtail Harness
The pigtail harness comes complete with prewired leads allowing you to easily replace the factory connector. This is an important step when replacing the ICP sensor as often times the factory harness may have corrosion or oil contamination.
Crimp Connectors
Included are (3) heat shrink crimp connectors that allows you to easily connect the pigtail harness to your factory wire harness.

Item was installed, but never worked. I towed my truck to a certified mechanic who verified this sensor was defective. Replaced it with Ford Motorcraft part and the truck now runs well. Don't waste your money with this part.

One complaint o-ring are no good needs to be replaced they are cheap it blew out within a h.r oil all over engine and leaking

This ICP sensor works like new and is a great value. However, you cannot use the o-ring that comes with it. The o-ring supplied is too big and will get cut when installing the sensor causing a leak. You have to reuse the old o-ring or get the special Ford o-ring (part #: F4TZ-9N693-A). This o-ring is smaller and is used on all the high pressure oil connections.

Be careful when installing, the wiring harness is very cheap. Also, make sure that you get the old O ring completely out. I didn't and blew hot oil all over engine compartment.

Great value for the price. my old one was leaking which was the original from Ford. I feel eaconomy came up about a half a mile to the gallon. After reading all the reviews I reluctantly bought this I can well I'll take a chance. Turned out to be a good guy and works great. I made sure I looked up the O-ring before I install because I read a lot of people had busted O-rings after just a short few miles. Mine has been on through two oil changes with no problems.

I haven't had it in long, but I have checked that it works properly using a professional scanner using live data.The numbers are all good! Just not sure how long it will last.For the price, you can't go wrong as far as I can tell

Pigtail wires are too small and icp didn't even make it 3 hrs. Cheap chinese knock off garbage. Don't waste your money.

Nice and cheap but did not even last 2 months and I had tried to get in contact with seller and manufacture as it says lifetime warranty. And no response so 2 stars it is. Edit they totally warrantied the part and it's been good since
