Deutsch DT, DTM, DTP Wedgelock Removal Tool
General Information
ET-01 DEUTSCH removal tool is designed to simplify contact removal and field service repair in connectors that utilize a round shoulder contact retention system. They are compact, easy-to-use, and remove contacts without damage to the wire, insulation, connector seals, or connector body. The ET-01 is a multi-use tool with a small hook on one end and a small screwdriver on the other.
Applications
Designed to be used to remove individual DEUTSCH solid and stamped/formed (S&F) pin and socket contacts from front-release connectors (such as DT, DTM, DTP, DTV, DRB, DRCP, and STRIKE connectors).
USING THE TOOL
1.1. Removing Socket Contacts
1. Slide the screwdriver tip of the removal tool under the secondary wedge lock, and by evenly lifting it, remove it from the connector.
2. Insert the screwdriver tip of the removal tool into the contact cavity of the contact to be removed to release the locking finger.
3. Holding the rear seal of the connector in place, pull the wire until the contact is removed.
1.2. Removing Pin Contacts
1. Using the hook tip of the removal tool, grasp the secondary wedge lock, then pull it straight out of the connector.
2. Insert the screwdriver tip of the removal tool into the contact cavity of the contact to be removed to release the locking finger.
3. Holding the rear seal of the connector in place, pull the wire until the contact is removed.

The post office said they put it in the mail box which they didn't. A week later it shows up on my porch. Don't uses the usps.... they suck. Great product. Thanks!!!

Didn't think of this when I was searching but the round handle rolls on the work surface. Totally annoying. Other than that it worked as expected.

The red handle slides right off. You're supposed to be able to pull with the hook side, but not with the one I received. Sent it back, picking another brand.

The red center part was loose on delivery. The box was intact so can't blame the shipper. I don't know how the red part holds to the metal stem other than it's a press on. This is junk would never buy again.
