I am super impressed with the quality and functionality of the cinch and cutting tools in this kit. Both work excellent. The included assortment of stainless steel PEX clamp rings are also excellent quality. This tool was a game changer for me. It's SO much easier to use than the bulky PEX crimper I have, and it's so much more versatile because it fits in tighter spaces. I'm done using my old PEX crimper, and I will only be using this cinch tool from now on. It is a great value, and it's comes in a nice quality case. If needed, it's simple to remove a cinch ring, and the cinch rings are so much easier to place on the tubing without accidentally moving them out of position compared to a PEX crimper. The connections are every bit as reliable, if not moreso, because the cinch rings are stainless steel as opposed to copper.

I had to shorten some pEX under my kitchen sink to install a new faucet, this was my very first time working with PEX. This tool works well, comes with decent instructions, the bands are good quality and I had no issues using the tool. This was a great purchase and got the cutter, crimper, multiple sizes of bands and got the job done for a fraction of the price. Cramped perfectly the very first time and seems well made.

I received it a couple days ago and it looks to be very sturdy and the addition of the pex rings makes it a good value.. the carrying case makes it nice to keep it all together..

I used this cutter and crimper to cut and crimp over 100 pex connections and never had one issue. The crimper also has an option for removing crimps which came In very handy for me. Even comes with 1/2†and 3/4†crimps

These PEX crimpers are awesome. I've made up over 100 connections and they are so much easier to use than the long handled blue SharkBite non-ratcheting crimper. I found that they worked better if they are oiled. I lubricated them with some Lucas Gun Oil and they operated much smoother. These were extremely helpful under the house and inside cabinets where there was limited access and not much room to work the non-ratcheting crimping tool. If you're working with SS PEX clamps you need one of these crimpers in your tool box.

I’ve never worked with Pex before. I recently bought a travel trailer and its plumbing is 1/2†Pex. The water heater bypass valves were size seized up in the open position, so I decided to take on a little project to replace them. This crimper does a great job of both removing the old crimp rings and installing new ones. The bonus Pex line cutter does a very good job of cutting the lines at a nearly perfect 90°.They are ratcheting, so if you need to reposition, the tool won’t let go.The only cons I can think of are:1) It’s difficult to use one-handed unless you have very large (and strong) hands. I understand that it’s not designed to use single-handed, so no stars deducted.2) the small “knob†that switches the tool between “cut†and “crimp†modes is a bit difficult to turn by hand. It doesn’t protrude much, and it’s small for my big hands, but I haven’t yet had to use a separate tool to turn it.Overall I’m very happy with the purchase.

Purchased this tool when I ran into a tight situation installing PEX water lines. I have previously used PEX copper rings for installation, whereas this tool works with the stainless steel version. While the SS rings are more expensive, I can't see myself ever going back to the copper style....ever. The ratcheting function makes these so easy to use with one hand in any situation.Changing from mode 1 to 2 is awkward (install & removal) and I did find them pricey, otherwise I would have given them a 5 star

Worked very well to do home repairs, replace faucets and shut off valves. Nice price point compared to what I was seeing elsewhere. I'll likely rarely use it as I'm not in the plumbing business, but for my periodic home repair and reno use, works very well!
