We used to have a different towel holder that was a little bit longer and didn't have the curved edges that the InterDesign one has, and as a result it was constantly hitting a neighboring cabinet door and scuffing the surface up (our cabinets are at an angle). I purchased the 9" as a replacement and I am very happy with it.First of all, it is very sturdy and nicely made. The holder parts that touch the cabinet are fully lined with padding (the old one had just two small dots) and fit perfectly over our cabinet door. The old holder needed some modifications to keep from slipping, but this one stays securely in place. Best of all, between the 9" size, the slight curve and the rounded edges this has completely eliminated the issue that we had with the old holder damaging the neighboring cabinet door. We do have to keep it slightly off-center for that to happen, but it's a small price to pay compared with having to replace a cabinet door a couple of years down the line!The only con I can think of is that due to the curve towels are a little more prone to slip off a bit - they don't fall off, but they do start to hang a little bit crooked if you open the cabinet a lot. If you are OCD about the way your towel hangs, you might want to choose a straight model like the .

It looks good, is a good size, lasts a long time, and is easy to clean. I liked it so much that when I needed another kitchen towel holder, I bought another one of these. Highly recommend.

This little towel bar is just that LITTLE. You read the dimensions but it still seems so small . your towels and damp clothes don't fit well. Cant blame the product they give us the dimensions but just doesn't work for me. Its made well ,falls of the door once in a while . But in general a nice product . And if the size is right for you then it is a nice little towel bar. It needs something to protect the cabinet finish and it could also serve to snug down the fit on cabinet door maybe cushioning material.

I have a flip down drawer in front of my kitchen sink. This fits over the edge perfectly. My cabinets are white painted maple, and this has not damaged the finish at all. I love having a hand towel at the sink so I don't have to use so many paper towels.

this is my fourth purchase. this is a great towel holder that works in the kitchen and in the bath. You could use a tiny screw on the inside of the cabinet door to keep it from sliding back and forth, but I don't bother. (there are tiny holes in the arms for this purpose, but does not come with screws) The chrome is durable and easy to keep clean, and the first one I bought years ago never pitted or peeled, and I expect this one to be the same.

I purchased two of these. They are a perfect size, color, and are very unobtrusive. They simply sit on the top of your cabinet door and stay put without the use of the provided screws. I would say that if you have small children or people who will pull the door open by the towel then you may want to screw them to the door for added security. Highly recommend.

We used to hang the towel over the door at the sink, but that left the door cracked open and only half the towel accessible. This hanger works great and doesn't mark up the cabinet door as it has padding. Looks 'classier' than hanging off the door or on a door pull. Leaves the towel totally accessible and really doesn't stick out much to get in the way - have not hit it yet with my leg. So that's a plus. Metal is a but shinier than I like for matching with brushed stainless, but stills looks good.

This is well made, heavy duty, and I like it for the extra dish towel holder I use it for. I often bump it and it will come of the drawer or cabinet door I have it on. But that is probably more my fault than anything.

After replacing handles on cupboards my existing towel rail was too big. This is small enough to not collide with the handles. It is well made, looks great and is just perfect.
