It works nicely on kitchen table and holds creamer, sugar bowl, butter dish, salt & pepper shakers perfectly. It's sturdy and quiet win spun. The clear design allows tablecloth to be seen through it. Acts as tray to remove everything at once when clearing the table. It's much more solid than other 'white and grey' plastic style/brand I've used previously. It's also much nicer looking. I bought the 11" size.

Where has this little turntable been all my life?! It fits right next to the stove, so I can rotate my sea salts and cooking oils and grab what I need so easily. It's made of nice, thick plastic and I love that it's clear, so you hardly notice it on the granite countertops. I could see so many uses for so many of these around the house.

I cannot stress enough how good these are except to say even more appreciated in this day of "junk manufacturing." I have tried other Lazy Susan turntables including most recently ordered 2 in memory-error offered by "mDesign" and I might as well put things on a dinner plate and try to turn it. (Junk.) I had ordered two of these iDesign ones last year and they spin beautifully, with or without weight on them. Staying with what works and discovering my brand error, last week I ordered two more of the iDesign turntables and they are again perfect. Well made through and through including the factory-fitted packaging (only mentioning that because it's a sign of the distributor brand not cutting corners). Granted these are more expensive than similar appearing lookalikes but they will last for years and they Are Worth It.Info: They are 11" inside usable diameter, and the effective part of the lip is 1/2" tall which is enough to stop things from sliding off but low enough not to snag retrieving tall things with limited headroom. Give it a push and it spins evenly and smoothly on its ball bearings. And sturdy! I am using them for tall heavy bottles of sauces and oils in a cabinet with unevenly distributed weight around the turntable and it spins properly. Also in my awkwardly-high fridge top shelf (ditto the unevenly distributed weight). Also have one on my center console for things I constantly need and yet another for my most commonly used spices. In other words, tried and proven, they have increased my organization and efficiency in the kitchen... a LOT.I hope this review saves others time and returns hassle that I had to spend before finally finding these. I have gotten away with inferior products of other types where the lack of quality doesn't matter that much, but a turntable? It has to be designed and made well.

I would give it 5 Stars - but the product Title is misleading.I have a pantry shelf that is 14.25" wide and I wanted these lazy susan's to fit. After they arrived I found out they are 14.5" wide. The TITLE says 14", but in the descriptions, it says 14.5". I was hoping that the real size would be somewhere between the two. It is not. These sturdy iDesign Turntable Lazy Susans are just a hair larger than 14.5". I wish the Item Title was more specific and less confusing. I thought I would have to return them. But . . . .The good news is that I can actually use these in my pantry cabinet after all. I had measured the front opening of the shelf and there is a bit of frame at that point so the opening is 14.25". But behind that the shelf is juuuuust barely large enough to fit these turntables. I had to tilt them diagonally to get past the frame and then voila! They fit like a charm! Bonus: No wasted space. I've put boxed mixes, and cans and jars on them and they turn freely.So, if the interior of your cupboard is at least 14.5" deep & wide, then these are excellent Lazy Susans to organize your things! Highly recommend.

This turntable is such a superior design over all the other turntables I've had in my kitchen over the years. Previous ones were less stable, their bases were so small that when you removed an item from one side, it would tilt with the weight of whatever was on the other side of the turntable. No more. Even my husband, who never notices things like this, was impressed with how smoothly it turned, how much it held, and how very sleek and modern it looked on the island. If I could give it more than 5 points, I would. The edges keep items from sliding off, the list of positives go on and on. Well worth the price, can't say enough good things.
