I don't even remember when I bought these, I just saw that I never left a review. I've had them for at least a few years now, and I love them. I build model kits and make jewelry and the soft jaws are ideal for both types of projects because they don't mar plastic, metal, or beads. I have another pair of pliers from this IPS brand with grippy soft jaws, and they are equally great quality. Definitely a worthwhile purchase!

Firstly, this product was delivered days late. Secondly, the product on Amazon shows a lovely lavender color ( no option to choose color). Well I received a red one. I received a red one for the wider pliers so I was really hoping for a different color to differentiate the 2. Not to mention most tools are blue or red and having the calm lavender color would have been nice. I will say these pliers are exceptionally well made though and happy I made the discovery as a jeweler. My recommendation to the company is to allow for color options or simply show the color to be expected.

Was specifically looking for a plastic covered, but thin profile set of pliers to meet a very special need.Seems my new Trane AC compressor came with a free dented louvre - not serious, but something that always caught my eye when walking past it. See photo to get what I mean.Well, the tech didn’t have a solution other than trying to bend it with his hand, so started looking for something that would be scratch resistant yet strong enough to bend some fairly thick metal.While not Chinese tool cheap, these IPS covered pliers did exactly what I needed without damaging the finish of my new compressor.These are middle weight construction pliers w vinyl covered, spring loaded handles. Can be made to clamp together flat or extended to hold something bulky.Even comes with extra set of plastic pads and screws to secure them. Very impressive!

love these! quick delivery! nice grip. the weight of these are great too. best feature of the non marring tips is the small groove in the tip going parallel so that you can squeeze your jump ring closed correctly without slippage. also another groove lower down the jaws going the opposite direction. as of now I've only used them 1 day but I would buy em again. came w 1 set of extra nylon tips too!

Die Zange ist prima, greift gut. Es sind sogar 2 Ersatzbacken mit eingepackt. Die Lieferzeit war etwas zäh und hätte normalerweise einen Stern gekostet. Aber die Qualität macht das wett.

Beautiful Japanese quality. These are a bit expensive but they're so handy to have around and are very frequently used. Previously, there've frequently been times I'd end up causing damage to something I was fixing because I only had metal pliers. I finally got sick of mangling things so I ordered these. Not only am I using them for the things I originally bought them for, but they frequently get used for applications I hadn't previously thought of. For example, the other day I used them for putting on some spring hose clamps and they worked so much better than metal jawed pliers because the nylon grips the tabs of the clamps instead of always slipping off. Take the plunge and buy these; you won't regret it. Actually, you'll thank yourself every time they get you out of trouble and you'll forget all about the slightly higher price you paid.

Got these to press tape-in hair extensions after seeing a similar tool specific to that purpose sold at 89$ or more. Cheap versions of the same tool have reviews stating it broke almost instantly. So I tried this. It's perfect. The quality is excellent, the whole thing is made of metal - came with extra set of pads for the teeth (excellent, thank you!) and feels good in the hand with a slightly rough handle so you don't slip while pressing. Really excellent tool and very well made, and cheaper than the knockoffs even. Recommended highly!
