How to Use?
- Correctly connect the connector and sensor head to the tester.
- The induction head is aligned with the ignition coil to start working, and the working status of the ignition coil is judged according to the result of lighting.
TEST RESULTS
Red strobe light emitting diode that produces a continuous, regular flash followed by a beep indicates a normal ignition voltage. No response or inconsistent response indicates that the ignition voltage to the ignition coil is insufficient.May be caused by the following reasons:
1. Dirty spark plug or improper gap.
2. Damaged or corroded wiring or connections.
3. Faulty coils or defective automotive circuits.
Green flashing diode produces a continuous, regular flash indicating normal burn time. Unresponsive, inconsistent flashes indicate abnormal burn times.May be caused by the followings:
1. a shorted ignition coil
2. Resistance failure or interruption in the primary or secondary coil.
3. Faulty coil
