The part; although worked, came laced with a powder. What is that stuff? That's the only reason for my one star. I'm going to have to get that inspected. It's a lot of a powder substance. I'm scared for my own health.

**The Purple and Black wires are INCORRECT**The Purple and Black wires are inverted, I believe they are the right wires but the wrong color.My car runs with the module, so that's OK. The Black wire is actually the Purple and the Purple wire is actually the Black wire.If you look at an original plug wiring diagram the wires on my old module are correct colors, and these are not.If you are simply "plug and play changing" an old module that's fine, but if you are wiring a car or have to refer to a wiring diagram in the future that color switching could cause major headaches for someone unaware that the module was made wrong.Also, you can not simply re-pin the plugs they are molded with the wires inside. You should also put some dielectric grease inside the terminals because these plugs are not waterproof, they will corrode inside.This is a basic duraspark 2 module, it works and fits so I am happy with that. It's a bargain if it lasts, I have it solely for a backup on long road trips, they are a common point of failure.I Hope My Review And Pictures Were Helpful To You !!

This ignition module is compatible with a range of Ford motors, and I have tested this on a European Ford 2.8 litre Cologne V6 (1983), and it works flawlessly.The price point on this is excellent, costing significantly less than another aftermarket equivalent I have purchased in the past.Installation is straight forward, the plugs fit correctly and securely and the mounting holes and case dimensions are the same as the original unit, so mounting is quick and easy.Overall Verdict?Good value on a common service item; at this price you can afford to change the unit when changing your plugs and wires. I highly recommend this product.
