Wasted much time removing the door and panel only to find these are approx 20% smaller and look ridiculous - I put the old one back and will have to just live with having 2 different keys -

I recently bought an '04 Jeep Wrangler, and having separate ignition and door keys was driving me crazy. Let me tell you, it’s been a game-changer and it has made my life easier!The installation process is relatively straightforward. While I had a professional install it to save myself the frustration (I know my limits with patience), I’m confident this is something most people can handle in their driveway with the right tools.Now, I only need one key for both the ignition and doors, and it feels so much more convenient and organized. The quality seems solid, and it fits perfectly. If you’re dealing with the same annoying two-key situation, I highly recommend this!

After a lot of miles off road, the ignition key cylinder on my Wrangler was worn to where you could remove the key while the Jeep was running. I had it fall out on one particular adventure.Replacing just the ignition key meant that I now had to have 2 keys for the vehicle.And since I have 2 different sets of doors that meant now 3 keys.This kit solved my problem just the way I wanted, though I still have 2 keys.This kit replaced my ignition cylinder and key, and my key cylinders in my full hard doors and the tailgate.My original key now fits my half doors and the console, which I never lock anyway.I don't really lock the half doors either as they have hinge locks to prevent them from walking away.Some may complain that the key is shaped differently than the stock key, but I like it because that makes it obvious which key you have when you reach into your pocket.And the big bonus is that the keys don't fall out.
