I bought these (15x vanilla scented) for use in my tea warmer. While unlit, they have a nice, not very strong vanilla scent. While lit, they barely have any scent. They are not too smoky when you put them out. My problem is: the entire candle was melted in under 2 hours and when it solidified again, it was lumpy and useless. Previously, I had a stock of similar candles from Yankee candle and they were much slower burning, i.e. it would take maybe 4 hours until the candle was halfway molten, they regained consistency and retained scent until the very end. Let me put it this way, I used a single pack of 12 Yankee Candle tealights in 5 years (and I drink a lot of tea) - but these Ikea candles are pretty much single use, so I expect I'll use the entire pack maybe within a month or two.update: increasing to a 4-star-review. The lumpy candle could be lit again and returned to its supposed structure after cooling down a second time. And it looks like I will be able to get a few more hours of use out of each candle. So all in all, these candles perform well. Still not as great as other brands, but they do the job.

Product information said pack of 30 but only delivered 15. Tried to contact Amazon for candles they shifted blame to IKEA forget trying to contact them. Amazon customer service should make this good. I bought the candles from them not IKEA, no accountability not to mention the burn time sucks. Burns down the middle lots of wasted wax.

I was a bit hesitant seeing some reviews mentionned short duration and not a complete burn, but these may have been a bad batch? Mine arrived fairly promptly, were packaged OK (a very little damage from being in a soft enveloppe). I’ve burned about a dozen now, from both color patterns, and they’ve burned surprisingly long. Some have passed 4h, and they burn all the way to the bottom. The Vanilla smell is OK, a question of taste, its fairly light when it burns, enough to refresh from the dinner cooking. The actual package of unlit candles does smell quite a bit, they’ve ended up being stored in the laundry room so they don’t overpower cupboards. Overall great, will buy more!
