This is a great product for the price. It works with the Dewalt stand. Used for a few projects. I like that you can stand it about 30 feet away. We used it on a large wall to hang pictures.

I liked the self leveling feature which saves a lot of time that would otherwise be spent manually leveling a device that does not have self leveling. My first use was to maintain the proper slope in a ditch I was digging for a new septic tank leach field and for leveling the septic tack itself. Very bright Green VCSEL laser can be seen in most light conditions.

Out of the box this is solid, has a bright beam and a basic mount and a decent semi hard case, not a soft bag.What I didn't like,The instructions are sparse. A couple of q links are provided but you can't go directly to the online manual without first going through a pitch to sign up for email notifications for their products which you can bypass if you click the hamburger icon and just search.That just gives you the same manual that is in the box so a waste of time.There is no how to use info that one of the codes is supposed to point to. Just a repeat of the previously stated cycle and a lot of non working pages.The link to support goes back to registration so If this fails during warranty I may have to go to Amazon customer support to fix it.The mounting bracket that comes with this isn't the fancy one that is shown in the video on Amazon. You get the basic bracket, I expected that so no surprise but,the bracket doesn't lock the level in place.Once the screw is tightened the level still swings a full 360 degrees around it's base and is just loose enough that it is very, very easy to knock it out of line vertically.I really don't like that part.Because it can swing under it's own weight it can't be used to point at the ceiling or floor using the included magnetic bracket.It's best if this were used on a tripod.Of course you can find a magnetic bracket on Amazon with 3 way fine adjustment like the one in their video for about $30 extra.Played with this enough so far to consider it well worth the price but those points previously mentioned still annoy me so they get dinged a star.

They make better options for these levels nowadays, but I only needed to square up some decking. This is good and accurate but only does two partial lines as opposed to newer three-line options these days. It isn't quite bright enough for daytime use outdoors, but by twilight I could use it outside on 16-foot decking. For the money it's a good deal. Feels sturdy.

Happy that battery is included and the device works right out of the box. The only problem is that my daughter has now discovered that everything hung on the walls in her house is misaligned! 😄

Almost impossible to see line in any daylight outside. When used at night, it is extremely bright and will probably get the cops called if near an airport. Inside it does a good job, but can be hard to get it close enough to level for it to level itself.

I purchased this" self-leveling laser", and unfortunately it never worked properly. The device isn’t level, which defeats the whole purpose. To make matters worse, when I tried to return it, the company refused to take it back or issue a refund because we discovered the issue too late. I would not recommend this product to anyone—it’s unreliable, and the customer service is disappointing. Save your money and look elsewhere.

I bought this to put handles on my cabinets…not sure if that is going to work, but…this little thing will be great to hang pics and prob when I build my fence, it will come in handy.It has a handle you attach if you want to hold it to level things.I think it’s well worth the $$.

I used this to level a foundation for a 20ft shipping container. I thought I had the fountain level until I used this. Had to make and adjustments and was skeptical until the shipping container dropped and was perfectly level. Good product good price

Great laser works outdoors can still see the green line over 20meters away ,it's comparable to the higher priced named brands
