Have been using a couple months now.... All features work fine. Initializing Bluetooth recognition was very simple & easy - IF YOU FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS (if you do not follow the instructions you will be frustrated & insist that it doesn't work... As you may be imagining I initially skipped the instructions assuming sameness to other devices)Busting out the owner's manual & following the directions from the start is very helpful. It really is straightforward enough to operate, if I can figure it out.I have no issues reading the button labels on this model.Everything they say about it being impossible to read the display from certain angles is true... & It is very aggravating. This problem can be resolved if you can have it up higher - I have mine trialing a space UP under an open shelf & seem to be liking it there.VOLUME/SOUNDThis stereo is not going to vibrate any windows, but the volume works GREAT. The only volume issues I've run into have been due to issues caused by the production quality of the source/recording being played. We regularly listen comfortably a room or two away.I use it a lot for listening to audiobooks with the Bluetooth, & talk radio... Some voice registers become very tinny & vibrate if you really crank the volume. But in saying this I must note that we do not have it mounted properly: it is currently resting on a wire shelf rack (& I'm still sing it's praises)At regular listening volumes, the Sound quality is actually pretty impressive... It is the ONLY stereo in the house right now that my Jazz sounds decent on.If anything negative comes up, or if I mount it & find that the sounds improves, or vibrations remain... Will update accordingly.

This under cabinet combination player was purchased to replace an older Sony model. Really wanted another Sony but apparently they are out of the under the cabinet player business. There are a few out there but at a ridiculously priced. At this point I have installed and tested a few of the iLive features. The install process was not straight forward. I wanted to flush mount the radio, but if I followed the instructions it would have been set back, did a test fit. The way to get around this I cut out the radio outline which was accurate to about a 1/16 of an inch. I next measured the distance from the front to back of the frame of the cabinet. In my case, 3/4 of an inch, then drew that setback on the drawing outline then folded it under the outline. I than taped it to the cabinet and used a nail to make an indentation of the hole location to be drilled. I pilot drilled the holes with a smaller drill first and than drilled the required size. The results was a perfectly flush mounted unit with aligned screw holes. Before mounting make sure you connect and route your power cord and also unwrap the wired antenna, you will want to tune to your favorite station prior to routing the antenna under the cabinet for best reception. The directions in the manual are about average for this product, it does the job. The display is pretty visible providing you are looking at it straight on, if you are to far off angle it disappears from view. The sound of the unit was very clear and in our area picked up most of the local FM radio stations. The best way to explain the sound quality was it was as good as the Sony but without the Sony bass boost. If you like a lot of bass you may not be happy with this unit. The CD player worked just fine, it played normal CDs and also MP3 recorded CDs with no issues. There are other features that I have not tried, USB-A port, timer, or Bluetooth. Visually the unit looks stylish and seems to be made well and updated the kitchen compared to the unit it replaced. It was also smaller but I will miss the under counter light feature my old unit had. For the number of features the unit is of a good value. I hope the unit will lasts as long as the unit it replaced which still works and has been moved to the garage,

I like this simple unit: sounds good and has several functions for a reasonable price. Also nice compact size.
