Got it for my geog uni courses just to make it fun for myself. I literally run to this thing while I'm listening to lectures. My only complaint is that I have bad eyes so I really have to use the magnification or a flashlight for reading stuff on it. The light feature is just such a plus as I love thus kind of thing. The weight screams good quality and it's not a flimsy thing. Best part is I plan to use this on my desk once I'm finished with my teaching cert bc I think it will be an awesome tool for middle schoolers to mess around with

I liked this purchase, the look and quality is great. The only thing is the light did not last very long. Could not figure out how to replace..became a nice fixture even without the working light. Still enjoyable.

The globe itself is detailed, and for me, the perfect size. I use it in my bedroom when I want some light but not a lot of light. It puts off a nice warm hue that’s very comforting. For those of you that want to hook this up to a smart plug, it does have a mechanical switch, meaning you can keep it in the on position or the off position. So if you want to hook it up to a smart plug, you can easily do that. Recommended.

I think it is a beautiful globe, reminds me of the one my dad had when I was a kid. I enjoy reading before bed and would read by the light of the globe, worked great until the lights started flickering. Seems to be no way of fixing it.

The store was super nice. They also included a magnifying glass, a glass wipe and a very cute thank you card inside the globe box as gifts. It was very heartwarming 😊

It looks good and works well so far, but I wasn't expecting it to have Chinese translations as well as the English. The advertised photos don't show additional language translations so it was unexpected.

Only few months after purchasing with not too much use, light started flickering constantly when turned on.Any advise on how this can be fixed?Would not recommend buying considering the high end price.
