These are great if you have electricians that love to leave wonky outlets and switches. Leaving us to deal with their lack of leveling or care. It is difficult to get the outlets through these but can be done or just remove and reinstall. We have an install video North To Dixie in YT

For some reason this extender does not fit into my 2 gang metal box with typical 2gang mudring.The one gang version worked well in my 1gang mud rings.

This item makes it easy to adjust a receptacle that is recessed and needs to be flush with the wall. The only downside I found was that I had to remove the receptacle from the wires and then replace the wires after the extender was in place.

After installing a 3CM thick granite backsplash, All my plugs and switches needed extension boxes. All the ones I tried didn't work because they butted up to the recessed electrical boxes in the wall. These have a slight taper on the back of the box and large tabs on the boxes. So they slide just inside the edges of the recessed boxes allowing you to adjust them to the exact thickness of the granite. and the tabs allow you to make them flush with the face of the new backsplash.

Recently installed panelling and needed to extend light switches and power receptacles. Found single ones at local hardware store, but couldn’t find extensions for double light switch. Fit perfectly and works great. Would buy again.

We needed to bump out our outlets after a backsplash install, this was SUPER easy to use and did exactly what it was supposed to do!
