Well, this product works well with our older model telephone, It does not expand 12 feet as describedIt only expands to just short of 10 feet. Had we known this we would have ordered the 25 foot which is a lot longer than we needMay stretch with use, but I’ve never known a phone cord to do that It usually expands to full length from the startDoes have good clear qualityHad the length been 12 feet as described we would’ve given us a five star review

I was very happy to find out that Amazon had handset cords in stock. As strange as it may seem, some of us still have landlines even though I also have a cell phone. My phone was suffering from heavy static due to pulling on the cord way too much. I'm of a certain age that needs Life Alert and as far as I know it only functions with a landline, so it was necessary. The Pharmacy next door use to sell them. So of course, I inquired about it, thinking they might have one stray dusty one left somewhere in their stockroom. Needless to say, they thought my inquiry was very funny. But what was really funny is that I had a cell phone I think in the 80s before it became the norm. The only use at time was to make calls. No selfies, movies, games etc...Yes cell phones are very handy. But the traditional landline has always been reliable. So happy to find an item that's not readily available everywhere anymore. And that my phone is working properly again.

I assumed cords were all universal but depending on where you buy from, they are not.. this one was perfect for my work place phones instead of spending a fortune on a technician to come and replace with their parts
